Italmatch Chemicals announces that, after an accurate audit conducted by the customs authorities, the company has obtained the certification as Authorized Economic Operator Full (AEO F) – Customs Simplifications and Security.

The pilot started running in 2018. After more than 20 testing runs, now it can work in continuous mood and for the entire day, producing 500 kg of product per day.

The project was presented during the workshop “Eco Innovation for reduced production and use of hazardous chemicals”. It was organized within the “LIFE Platform Meeting on Chemicals”, held in Vilnius (Lithuania) on 27 and 28 November 2019.
The production of Phosphorus P4 is linked to the use of phosphorite ore. Since it’s almost completely absent in Europe, it must be imported from countries that have mines, such as China, Vietnam and Morocco. The EU considers Phosphorus as a key raw material: it is contained in many industrial products.
