Product identification and description

Phoslite B407A is a proprietary non-halogenated flame retardant synergistic preparation system based on inorganic Phosphinate.

Key features

  • Best non-halogenated solution for flame retardant PP UL 94-V2 rating available on the market:
    • Extremely high UV stability and no yellowing
    • Very low influence on polymer rheology and mechanical properties
    • Easy to disperse and to colour
    • Not blooming and not corrosive
    • Not hygroscopic

 

Applications

Flame retardant for polyolefins resins used in extrusion and injection applications showing extremely high UV stability and no yellowing. Normally used at concentration from 4,5% to 10% depending on polymer, formulation, and flame retardant standard to be achieved. Suggested dosage for UL-94 V2 rating, GWIT > 800°C and GWFI 960°C at standard thickness is 4,5% on PP homo and 6% on PP copolymer.
