Italmatch receives CDP climate change B- rating

Italmatch Chemicals has received a B- climate change rating from CDP. This is a strong recognition of the group’s ESG strategy and underlines the progress made by the company in its decarbonization roadmap.

Italmatch ranks now among the 45% of the companies that have reached the management level as they take coordinated actions on climate change issues.

The rating is based on the strong efforts developed during the year: a certified GHG inventory, a detailed and structured climate governance, a good risk assessment and suppliers engagement helped to reach the valuable result.

CDP’s ratings are widely recognized as the industry standard for corporate environmental transparency, providing customers and investors with reliable sustainability information. With the participation of over 23.000 of the companies in 2023, CDP gathers data on climate change, deforestation and water security.
