Chemistry for sustainable and resilient change: new article on Genova Impresa
Italmatch was featured in the latest issue of Confindustria Genova's official magazine

Innovation and sustainability are central elements of Italmatch’s DNA, recognized today as a global leader in speciality chemicals. Since the group foundation of our first plant in Spoleto in 1998, the Group’s growth has been driven by investment in R&D and internal innovation processes, with a focus on future development.
In an interview with Genova Impresa, Confindustria Genova‘s official magazine, our Group General Manager Corporate Maurizio Turci discussed the company’s global growth through internal evolution and our long-term Corporate prospective.
“Are chemistry and sustainability oxymorons? Actually, our specialty chemistry is green by definition. It facilitates many processes in the circular economy, renewable energy, electrification and the recovery of critical raw materials. Italmatch has its roots in traditional manufacturing, and almost thirty years ago our CEO, Sergio Iorio, introduced a visionary model: integrating solid businesses with ESG initiatives, focusing on international growth, innovation through R&D and M&A, implementing alternative finance tools such as bonds and private equity, which have accelerate our growth” said Maurizio Turci.
“Another company’s strategic priority is digital transformation. This involves more than simply integrating new digital technologies including AI into business processes to improve efficiency and productivity: it also requires a broader Corporate vision in terms of strategy and culture and introduces a new work approach to all employees” concluded Maurizio Turci.
