Chemistry industry and youngsters event in Aberdeen

Italmatch Chemicals was pleased to attend in the DYW North East (Developing the Young Workforce) Chemistry at Work Event. Hosted at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, close to Italmatch’s office and laboratory site, the event was organized by the RGU and the Aberdeenshire Council, with the support of the North Scotland branch of the Royal Society of Chemistry and local companies.

The day served as an important platform to promote the chemistry industry to students and highlight the diverse career opportunities available in the field.

Thanks to a series of demonstrations and mini-lectures, companies provided insightful introduction to the many aspects of a career in chemistry. Italmatch took the opportunity to describe its activities, in particular in the decommissioning market, highlighting its sustainable chemistry practices.
