Product identification and description

Melagard® P37 is a non-halogenated flame retardant intumescent system based on Phosphorus and Nitrogen, not containing Ammonium Polyphosphate.

Key features

  • Effective on pure resins and glass filled systems
  • Partially hygroscopic and water soluble
  • Suitable for the higher flame retardant classes (ex: UL-94 V0, high glow wire)

 

Applications

Flame retardant for Polyolefins and rubber system normally used at concentration from 18% to 35% depending on polymer, formulation, and flame retardant standard to be achieved.
