STAGE – Junior Business Operations Planner

Description

For our corporate function Business Operation Planning, we are currently looking for a Junior Business Operations Planner, based in Arese site. Mainly dedicated to BU – AWS and O&G and reporting into the EU – Business Operations Manager, the resource will support the main activities of Business Operations in European area: forecasting, build-up of demand plan for manufacturing sites and ancillary activities to ensure a good control on inventories.

Joining as a trainee, resource will be developed with the final target to play a crucial role within the organization to guarantee a steady flow of information between Sales Team and Manufacturing Sites and vice-versa, dealing with all company’s functions.

Main Activities

• Forecasting

Defining trends and demand pattern, challenge the European sales team with the final aim to improve forecast accuracy, assuring a good input for the Supply Planning activities.

• Demand Planning – Arese and Newport sites

Starting from Sales Forecast, capturing intercompany requirements, build up a mid-term production plan, considering available manufacturing capacity, that meets inventory targets and efficient production parameters

• Management of External Tollers

Manage the flows, in SAP and with other company’s functions, between sites and external tollers.

• Ancillary Activities (masterdata maintenance and SMOG process)

Profile

• Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of the Office package (focus on Excel) and good IT skills
  • Degree in Economics, Management, Management Engineering
  • Proactivity and Determination
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Predisposition to work in a team and interpersonal relationships
  • Results driven
