Italian Multinational Company, leader in manufacturing and sales of organic and inorganic specialty chemicals and polymers, is looking for a: ESG JR SPECIALIST (INTERNSHIP)

Mission

Supporting internal ESG interfunctional team in developing and following up ESG culture through new initiatives in coherence with Group Strategy also contributing to planning and overseeing projects, to ensure their completion and effective reporting.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The candidate will support internal team and colleagues, dealing especially with following activities:

  • Projects Reporting and costs control
  • Projects follow up and coordination (combining and integrating different involved stakeholders..)
  • Agreements/contracts management and finalization with focus on Consortium, Partnership,
    relations with Universities….
  • External Networking and partnership to create opportunities and evaluate new projects
  • ESG periodical reporting: developing, monitoring and reporting non-financial KPI’s and sustainability
    metrics
  • ESG: external benchmarking on best practices and innovative approaches with focus on Chemical
    Industry
  • European and national sustainable finance requirements and initiatives
  • Business plan and in building economic exploitation strategies for the new developed solutions
  • Economic feasibility studies, replicability studies, calculation of return on investments
  • Training and change management
  • Environmental improvement actions in cooperation with R&D and Production Plants

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management
  • Engineering or Economics
  • Strong focus on ESG activities and sustainability
  • Basic Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Basic Knowledge of contracts regulation
  • MS Office deep knowledge
  • Experience (also in internship) in ESG role will be a plus

Languages

  • Proficiency in Italian and English (speaking & writing) is required;

The selected candidates will be based in Genoa with possible frequent business trips in Arese (MI).
