From the beginning Genoa (in Liguria) was chosen as the central city. Since 2016, the headquarter has been moved to a central and symbolic location for Genoa, the old port, where the city’s production activities are based.
The turnover is 650 million euros, Italmatch is present in 4 different markets, its manifacturing plants allow a global coverage. Research and development are the key pillars, said Maurizio Turci. Industry Plan 4.0, launched by the Italian Government, was one of the main topics of the episode. But also the so called Patent Box, which has represented an opportunity for companies, bringing them closer to their territory and institutions.
Employer branding and attraction of talent – Need to strengthen the infrastructure, especially in Italy, where the routes between the main and secondary cities are still badly connected and with a steady development for 30 years. This would benefit not only tourism but above all the business and labour market.
